15th Annual Men's Intergenerational Event

Ryan, Rachel, Darlene, Chris and Byron:

The 15th Annual Men’s Intergenerational golf event was held at The Wilderness Golf Course at Fortune Bay this summer. John Moorhead and I once again want to thank all of you for enhancing the great experience for our participants. Clearly, the golf course, the club house facilities, the hotel, the casino and the marina are all first class, but even so they are greatly enhanced by the personnel at every one of those facilities who provide excellent customer service.

As you know this has become a charitable endeavor and this year our raffle and other events raised $2,183.00 for the Tower Food Shelf and North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity and we thank you for your generous donation of prizes that helped make that possible.

The Golf experience at The Wilderness is always good from the minute you walk into the Pro-Shop until the last putt drops. Thank you to Ryan Peterson and the entire golf course staff for all that they do, and a special thanks to Ryan for once again coming up with the Big Break contest and a very challenging putting contest.

We also appreciate the good food, beverages and service from the on-course providers and the staff in the Wilderness Grill. Our Friday night BBQ was delicious and once again the patio was a great venue.

The coordination by Rachel Indihar at the Wilderness and Chris Martin at Fortune Bay Hotel and Casino was perfect and everything, even with some moving targets, went without a hitch.

The hotel and banquet staff at Fortune bay was very welcoming and professional. Everyone appreciated the rooms and the Saturday night banquet was excellent and worked well for our group in the expanded banquet room. I also want to thank Byron Greenwaldt at the Marina, not only for the donation of a day of Ice Fishing as one of our prizes, but also for accommodating and finding a pontoon for part of our group that golfed in the morning, fished in the afternoon and made it to the BBQ that night.

Please let all of your staff know that they are appreciated by our group!

Our 49 participants are already looking forward to next year!
