Fortune Bay & Guests Support Angel Fund
April 26, 2021
Angel Fund applauds Fortune Bay and their guests!
Thank you to our guests for donating to our recent Ticket In Ticket Out promotion on behalf of our friends at Angel Fund in Hibbing. Your generosity, along with Fortune Bay’s $500 seed money, resulted in a direct donation of $2,813.39!
“Angel Fund can't thank Fortune Bay and its guests enough for their contributions and support,” said Angel Fund’s President Kelly Grinsteinner. “The donation will allow Angel Fund to provide financial assistance and a sense of hope to several Northeastern Minnesota residents battling cancer. Fortune Bay and its guests’ rock! Because of you, area cancer patients are the real winners!”
Grinsteinner said when Fortune Bay contacted them in response to their Rock for an Angel campaign appeal, she anticipated it being just a courtesy call about their donation request.
“However, when Brian from Fortune Bay mentioned this plan of using a promotional box to raise monies I was surprised and stoked!” said Grinsteinner. “What a creative way of not only raising funds, but also raising awareness of Angel Fund and our mission. We applaud Fortune Bay for the innovative idea.”
Upon recently receiving the check, Grinsteinner said Angel Fund Board Members were speechless by the healthy amount donated by Fortune Bay guests and the additional $500 donation from Fortune Bay.
“We too were pleased how our guests responded to this worthwhile cause,” said Fortune Bay’s Brian K. Anderson. “When Kelly reached out to us and told the story behind Angel Fund, we wanted to do our part and help them out for the inspiring work they do.”
